Shown as a quarry working attached to the Normanton Brick Works on the 1901 25" OS map. There appears to be a short tramway to the works.

I believe this to be the Sinfin line but I do not know the detailed workings along this line at the time of the photo.

Yes, this is a stretch of the former Midland Railway line between Melbourne Jn and Chellaston Jn near Sinfin Sidings.
