The Festival Clock, better known to everyone as the Guinness Clock. After the Festival it was relocated down the slope and continued to parade its toucans and the man with the fishing rod for many years.

One of the kiosks along North Carriage Road. Painted in red and white stripes, these were constructed of hardboard and bamboo poles. Despite this some of them lasted until the early seventies.

Wooden pier constructed for a Festival attraction which didn't happen as the contractor pulled out. The Festival site manager had to think of some other use for the pier and so the Show Boat, a mock Mississippi paddle steamer, was invented and built in double-quick time.
