WW2- base for Canadian troops Demolished 1961-1973. The coach house remains and has been converted. A survey in 2007 found the remains of the entrance hall mosaic which has been covered for its preservation. Now an outdor recreation centre and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (Main source: Surrey County Council) Prior history suffers from confusion of names and locations.
