This was a machine store nicknamed the Crystal Palace. It was dismantled in 1990 to make way for the Designer Outlet Village car park adjacent to Kemble Drive. The building had a steel framework similar to the Crystal Palace in London. When it was dismantled one section was sold to the West Somerset Railway and erected at Williton Station

Originally this house was called Sunnyside and was owned by William Kent who was a builder. He built several houses mainly in Swindon Old Town and the long building at the rear of the house was his joinery workshop. At the time of the aerial photo Andre Brooks was in residence and in 1930 expanded the business to include furniture Removal and storage using the ex joinery workshop.

The original Rodbourne Road Methodist Church was built in 1901 for £1479 and a church hall was built adjacent to it in 1957. In 2003 the church was demolished as it's condition had deteriorated beyond affordable repair and the congregation moved to the refurbished church hall.
