My Great Uncle Tom Jones lived in that Station House and his daughter was the famous Mai Jones who wrote "We'll Keep a Welcome in the Hillsides". My Cousin lives there now

This is not Griffithstown. The bridge carries Th Highway (A4042) that runs through the village of New Inn (once the main route south out of Pontypool). At the top of the image is Pontypool Road Station.
