This was at the top of Bruce Grove where the road joined Lordship Lane. It was the place where Trolly Buses stopped to move their connections to a new set of wires. I understand that Bruce Grove was the drive up to Bruce Castle itself originally. The castle can be faintly seen in the corner of the picture. |

In the 50's,60's Tottenham Royal had a reputation for fights, knifings. This seemed very strange to me as the main Police Station was opposite. |
