Site redeveloped including the adjacent Gaumont/Odeon which closed on the same day. New triple cinema included in new development, opened as ABC September 14th 1975, now operating as the Odeon Luxe.

Brandon’s Putney Brewery. It's official address was 66 Putney High Street. The company was founded in 1800 as A J Brandon & Co and became Brandon’s Putney Brewery Ltd in 1896 with the acquisition of the Star Brewery in Walton on Thames. Brandons, having made a number of acquisitions themselves, were taken over by Mann, Crossman & Paulin in 1920 at which time they had 76 pubs. They continued operating independently until 1949, and as a bottling plant for some time after this.
