I do agree! I could see there was a building, and some gardens, but as they are mostly hidden by the plane, I didn't make the connection. |

Without meaning to sound too pedantic... The Crystal Palace was never in Penge, but Sydenham. The site now falls within Upper Norwood - London SE19 (regardless of borough) |

This is the North Tower of Crystal Palace, the South Tower is obscured behind the aircraft. It was demolished in 1941 having survived the fire of 1936 which destroyed the main building. |
