Not quite a greyhound stadium when photo taken - first meeting recorded as 30 July 1932, the last being 14 January 1935, competition from two other tracks being blamed. The main use was as home to the Norwich Stars speedway team 17 August 1930 - 31 October 1964.

Query. I think this is the Speedway Stadium opened in 1930 called the Firs and hosted matches until the 1960s.See link:

Only staged greyhound racing 1932-35. Better known as home of Norwich Stars speedway team. Final meeting 31 October 1964.

Well what a great photo of Norwich speedway track pre-war. Home of course in the fifties and sixties to the great Ove Fundin, five times World Speedway Champion!
