' At the time of this photograph this was the Theatre Royal. It was demolished and replaced with an art-deco building "The New Theatre" (1931-1963). From 1963-1982 it operated as bingo hall. From 1982 it was a place of worship and finally a carpet warehouse. It was demolished in 1990 and replaced with a care home. '
