This is a locomotive shed for the short lived 'Aerodrome Loop Railway' The track went from aerodrome road ( running off a spur on the LMS mainline), around the Hendon Aerodrome, and through Montrose Playing Fields (as became), it then went onto the Edgware Road to allow access to the Airco aircraft factories.
The loco shed still , remarkably!, exists as a store for the council garden contractors. '
