' We called this 'The Copper Works pond'. It was a brick lined Reservoir that had steeply sloping sides & very deep & dangerous. The owners had been the Tharsis Sulpher & Copper Co who had moved leaving dangerous derelict buildings & unfenced reservoir behind. '
