' Tyne View Tce which originally belonged to Tennant's Chemical Works which came to Hebburn in the mid 1800s. Some of my relatives (the McNeill family) lived in one block 1940s to the 50s when it was demolished. They had an indoor bathroom & toilet, a tennis court where I added the Pin & even a phone left over by Tennant's. The pic is from my website www.oldtyneside.co.uk just before they were knocked down. '
