' There are two different listed buildings called Church of Holy Trinity, Much Wenlock. THIS one is Church of Holy Trinity, Much Wenlock, Wilmore Street, Much Wenlock, Shropshire TF13 6HR (the other building is at TF13 6QE and can be referred to as in Bourton). This church is generally open in daylight hours. This is a Grade 1 listed building, English Heritage Building ID: 254847, A large Norman structure. Chancel, nave and West tower South aisle added late C12. C13 additions. West End of church "re-ordered" internally in recent times. The interior of the church contains a small memorial to William Penny Brookes - the founder of the Modern Olympic Games. '
