St Cuthbert's Vicarage. It was deliberately built well away from the church because the church was right in among all the housing & the industry. Air pollution in Hebburn was bad due to every house having a coal fire & all of the Industry adding to the pollution problem. So for the health of the Vicar the Vicarage was built out in the country away from the smoke & muck. Photo from my website. '
