This Bridge was part of Tennant's Chemical Works complex & allowed rail trucks to get to the Wharf at the riverside. It was made from massive timbers. When I was a young lad early 1950s it was unused so a good playground for us kids. The road through it was used by the Hebburn Urban District Council Bin lorries taking household rubbish to the rubbish tip a few yards past the bridge.
