' Compare this small building in the 1934 photograph- a building which is no longer there- to this current colour aerial photograph of a smaller building well to the right, and immediately in front of the main house. The English Heritage buildings listing suggests the "new" smaller building, Grade 2, is a Summer House probably late 18th C. It looks possible that the listed building is the central remnant - or a replica- of this older building shown in the 1934 photograph. It is notable that in this 1934 image the building is facing what looks to be a tennis court. '
