This factory was 'White's Marine' on Prince Consort Rd. In the 20s early 30s my mother was a little girl living across the road from the Factory Gate. Times were tough & she told me she sometimes stood outside the gate when the men were finished their shift hoping for any spare 'bait'. The photo shows Prince Consort Rd with Whites offices & Factory in the background on the left. '
