' Old Cheltenham Corporation yard. My father was the Corporation Blacksmith. The pin position is centred over his forge/workshop. Other than repairing road rollers and dustcart bodies, he also fabricated railings for the Corporation, and repairedvarious road maintenance equipment. I remember being fascinated by the semi-circular sliding covers over the dustcart load beds... as I remember;he was always repairing the damage caused by the dustmen continually sliding them up and down. I seem to remember that they were Commer Karriers. '
