St Bartholomews Church. There is a large wall hanging at the East end from 1954 depicting the church, manor and village. Behind the hanging the flaking plaster shows a little of a 14th C carving and painting, possibly (central) of a nativity scene.
The church is said to be on or near a Roman burial ground. At the top of the right hand niche there is the remains of a painted angel.
