The Parish Church of St John the Baptist, Grade 1 listed. Ruins in the grounds of a pre-dissolution building can be seen (a listed monument). Although of great age, the church has been subject to considerable collapse, demolition and renovation. Major works at the end of the 19th Century took their toll on the ancient fabric and the exterior is largely Victorian. Some older fragments remain inside the building. '
