' King's Cross suburban platforms. These were served by trains coming up from Moorgate and Farringdon. They then left the Circle/Metropolitan lines and climbed via the Hotel Curve tunnel almost under the Great Northern Hotel to emerge at these platforms built next to the Kings Cross Suburban terminus platforms. All this has now disappeared in the new-look Kings Cross. '
