' Original Police Station. Down the side of Mill St at the east side of what is now the town hall building. The current town hall is three buildings built in stages and can be seen if you look at the different brickwork on each structure. The Police station was behind the original Town hall fronting High St. The town hall was extended down to side of the police station (behind it) and Greaves St and then extended a third time down to Firth St. Some of the police station brickwork remains in Molino's Lounge. '
