' I believe that this pair of twin funnelled ferries are the Great Western Railway ferries 'St David' and 'St Andrew'. Built in 1908 and shown here laid up just prior to their disposal during 1933. They were triple screw ferries probably used for service between Wales and Ireland. They served as Hospital Ships during WW1. '
