General Motors Chevrolet assembly works. Was formerly the 'Shoelands Shed' or 'Block G' of the Aircraft Manufacturing Company, aka 'Airco', built in 1918. General Motors turned the building over to the manufacture of their Frigidaire products b the late 1920's. the site is now occupied by Asda. '
