Duncairn, Home of Henry Joy (1822-1906) local builder of the Gervis and Westbourne Arcades and considered one of the founders of Bournemouth. The East Cliff Manor Hotel was built on its site and soon became the Adelphi Hotel then Regency Hotel which, in turn, has been replaced by the new Adelphi Court. . '
