Nos 16-18 Lowlands Road were the premises of a long-established firm of funeral directors; J A Massey & Sons. The firm moved from this location probably during the 80s or 90s and the row of buildings in which it was located was torn down. Strangely, the site has remaine unoccuped ever since. A perfect opportunity missed for Harrow Council to approve another high-rise office block, I would have thought. '
