' 37 & 39 Pipe Lane, this row of victorian houses formed the original Pipe lane in Peterborough. the significance of this pair of houses is that they were the very last of this row of houses. For several years they remained occupied whilst standing in the middle of what was a demolition site until they were finally demolished around 1970. This cleared way for a new Eastgate development. '
