' I think that this might be 'Spooks'. It was a cottage that seemed to be older than surrounding properties in Woodcock Hill and set back from the road in a large garden. By the 1960s it was unoccupied and lying abandoned and acted like a magnet for local kids seeking to frighten themselves to death. '
