This was Tyne View Terrace, previously owned by the Tennant's Chemical Works which was on the land next to it. In this period it was rented to a few families.
My relatives the McNeill's lived in one part of it. Next door was a music teacher called Mrs Sewell. Some pics taken there are on my www.oldtyneside.co.uk website with thousands of old images . '
