' Zoom well in to see this- on the railway side of Egerton Road South, on the junction with Heaton Moor Road is a very small building, accessible to the public - once there were many of these buildings by railway bridges (for example at Belmont Bride, Stockport) but they have now all gone. This is a single toilet, for use by railwaymen- track workers, and sometimes station staff. Photographs of them seem to be very rare. '
