Ella Melling, Kevin McEnttee, Marie Howarth (wife of manager Jack Howarth) and Geoff Whitaker (who replaced Laurie Bates) were the four members of this vocal group. Ron Haseldine was also a member of the group at one time. Made TV appearances and records in the 1950s and appeared in Variety Fanfare.
The name was from a combination of 'chords' and 'cordite'. '
