Churchill Hall - home to the North Wembley Conservative Club. Not named for Winston but for a distant relative, who was previously the landowner of much of Kenton.
This rather ugly utilitarian building also played host during the mid '60s to the New Fender Club and some very well known R&B acts of the time, such as The Yardbirds and The Who.
The building is currently in a forlorn state and the site awaits imminent redevelopment as flats. '
