The George Wimpey Camp. Built to accommodate the men that built Heathrow Airport. Wimpey gave the local children a Coronation Party there. The main entrance in Green Man Lane can still be seen but is gated. Later became the BEA Trident Centre. Parts were used as apprentice accommodation, Training, Printing etc, The buildings have been removed but the land is used by the BAA.
