' Horspath Halt (WR) British Railways. Opened 5th June 1933 by the GWR. Another halt with the same name was constructed a few yards east of this platform, opened on 1st February 1908 and closed as a wartime measure 22nd March 1915. This platform was built of timber with a corrugated shelter at a cost of about 200 pounds. '
