' Cornwall Hall. The Hall stands behind the Methodist church in The Drive and consists of a large hall surrounded by a smaller hall and a range of rooms, plus a kitchen. Opened in 1906, it was paid for and equipped by Henry Swaffield who intended it for use by members of the Church and the people of Sevenoaks. During the First World War the building was used as a hospital as commemorated on a plaque inside the entrance. In the Second World War it was used as a British Restaurant.
