Bedford/Cambridge railway line.

Not the Bedford to Cambridge line, but in fact the main East Coast line. Little Barford is about 1mile south of St Neots and 3 miles north of Sandy on that line. The Cambridge line went into Sandy!

Little Barford coal fired power station built in the 1940s. Bedfordshire and Luton Archives and Records Service has the plans approved in 1939 [X481/62 and RDBP3/130]. The plant lay next to the East Coast Main Line which was convenient for trains bringing coal to the plant. This station was closed in 1981 and demolished.

Not South Wales at all, but Little Barford Power Station in Bedfordshire. Compare with EAW000877.
