Dear Class 31, Thanks for your help on yet another difficult image. I've cross-referenced with Google Earth and OS mapping, and the branching of the hill burns into the Tun Glen Burn, as well as the profile of the Milljoan Hill are excellent matches. Close observation shows a hill dyke meeting the Tun Glen Burn at its head and snaking its way as an inverted question-mark over the top of the Milljoan Hill. This can be seen very clearly on Google Earth. The revised record will appear here in due course. Brian Wilkinson Britain from Above Activity Officer (Scotland) |
