I think this may be SS "Lairdsrock" owned by Burns & Laird but on charter to Macbraynes, hence the funnel colouring. Until August 1936 she had been on the Burns Laird night services to Ireland after which she was chartered. A report in the Northern Times in November states that she had called at Lochinver with general cargo. In 1937 she was considerably refurbished and renamed "Lochgarry" in the Macbraynes fleet. Sadly she was a war loss in 1942.
