Drumtochty Stables Naturally an Estate like Drumtochty Castle needed big Stables for Horses and Carriages plus the accommodation for all the stable staff to provide a 24 hours service, but in modern times there was no need for these services any more and the building disused, soon became derelict. Around 2002 the buildings were rebuilt in traditional style and converted into modern Flats and Self-Catering Countryside Holiday apartments, the "Stables" provide now very much sought after accommodation.

The Episcopal Church of St. Palladius was built near the gates of Drumtochty Castle by the Rev. James Stewart GAMMELL in 1885. It is a small church, surrounded by lawns and a few gravestones.
