You're right, it's the road just east of Tullockvenus, trees above the road, and a few trees at the bottom of the valley along the river. |

Possibly Carron Valley Reservoir, not long after completion, the concrete looks fresh. |

I'm not seeing this as a reservoir or Kilsyth. Would it be too simple to suggest that as other images on same day with lower numbers are from Clatt in Grampian and higher numbers are from Banchory, SAW016810 and SAW016809 could be from same area? |

There is no evidence of a reservoir in this area. slowcoach was right to suggest that these photos were likely to be further north than originally suggested. |

More fantastic sleuthing! Again the form of the fields and the farm architecture match the aerial photographs and the maps, so very happy to validate these identifications. Well done! Brian Wilkinson Britain from Above activity Officer (Scotland) |

And now we know where 16809 and 16810 are, we can see they are in between 16808 and 16812 that were already known (and it's not near Kilsyth) |

At last we now have another two of the original unlocated photos identified. Google calculates that this picture is 143 miles away from Kilsyth which adds to the difficulty as it was said to be possibly near Kilsyth Hills. |
