| Coley’s Yard used to be situated here. Used to be a graveyard for old aircraft. Recently I found out they used to scrap WW2 planes. In the early 1970’s my friends and me used to peer over the fence at all the old planes was quite an eerie site and sad to see. An Industrial Estate is there now |

| I think this building was Hanworth Lodge built 1780 - 1800 which was demolished to make way for Grafton Close.
I used to live at Grafton Close and did some research about the Lodge. It was formerly the home of Lady Laura Dalrymple & 1834 - 1840 a Countess Dysart. In 1840 it was sold to a Henry Perkins. |
