Edmonton Tram Sheds, at the end of the appropriately named Tramway Avenue. Built in 1880/81 by the North London Suburban Tramway Co, it passed through various companies before becoming the property of The MET in 1902. Electric cars began operating out of here on 19 July 1905 and continued to do so until 16 October 1938, after which it was used as a trolleybus depot. On the corner of Hertford Road and Tramway Avenue was the Trolley Bus Cafe. |
