Dear Christian

What time period are you referring to in regards to the Swiss Cafe? Is it when it was owned / managed by D. Bozzini and S. Cizzio? I am related to the Cizzio side.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Kind regards,

Fiona

Metropolitan Buildings (St Pancras Square) - the first purpose built block of workers' flats in London, completed in 1848, bombed in 1941, and replaced by council flats slightly to the north.

The famous gasholders - quite a landmark in this part of London and for train passengers arriving at Kings Croos/St Pancras.

King's Cross suburban platforms. These were served by trains coming up from Moorgate and Farringdon. They then left the Circle/Metropolitan lines and climbed via the Hotel Curve tunnel almost under the Great Northern Hotel to emerge at these platforms built next to the Kings Cross Suburban terminus platforms. All this has now disappeared in the new-look Kings Cross.
