| Tram - Bristol ran trams between 1875 (starting off with horse-drawn trams) and was converted to electrical operation from 1895 onwards. System closed in 1941, after bombing cut the power supply to the remaining two routes; the other routes had by then been converted to buses starting in 1938. |
