East Hill Mill - H.S.Pledge & Sons Ltd. Built in 1901. Now a nightclub. The waterwheel remains in situ. H.S.Pledge & Sons Ltd. also owned the Victora Mill to the west of Ashford railway station. This building however burnt down in the 1980s. The site has been levelled and remains derelict.

To clarify, this is not Victoria Mill, as titled, but East Hill Mill. Their had been a mill on the site for many years before the current on was built in 1901 and was the reason for the construction of Lord's Cut, that part of the Great Stour which fed the waterwheel.

The site of Victoria Mill is now occupied by an Aldi store and the Curious Brew Brewery.
