  • Tilbury Fort (not to be confused with Coalhouse Fort, East Tilbury). This one originally built under Charles II. Row of buildings under pin now gone. Fort was used in TV series Sharpe (Sean Bean), [episode about Army high-up corruption].

  • What we called Tilbury Riverside. Most of that has been completely demolished and flattened. The railway station was derelict last time I was there, and the tracks pulled up.

  • Tilbury Riverside booking hall still exists and has been renovated as part of Riverside complex. I agree tracks no longer get all the way there (platforms gone), but still go into a (freight only) facility across the road.
