King's Corner. King's bakery on the corner of Church Street and Radcliffe Street. The wall fronting Radcliffe Street was always warm from the ovens inside. Sunday papers were delivered from a building at the back.

That's not Windsor Street - it's more likely Peel Road or Western Road

Yes I remember having a school sports day here (Wolverton Junior School, top of Aylesbury St) in the late 50s. The school had no field, just playground.

This is a lovely picture, capturing the works and sports field before it became an award winning residential home conversion. The sports field is now a garden area, the historic football stadium, just visible at the top left of the oval green, is stored somewhere!
