This is not a Gloster Grebe. It's an Armstrong Whitworth Siskin III of 41 Squadron.

Dear chikkiherbert

Thank you for pointing out our mistake in identifying this plane as a Gloster Grebe. The original Aerofilms hand-written register called it a 'Gloster Grebe', but further investigation has revealed that someone scribbled 'Sidley Siskin' on the original negative wrapper. An updated caption will appear on the website when our next data upload takes place.

Best wishes

Photo could be unsharp on the aircraft because the camera is focused on infinity (the houses look sharper)

Another picture of it at Northolt with station headquarters in distance.
