  • I agree it's Mill Farm. I used to buy rhubarb from the old woman who lived there in the 1950's

  • Don't forget The Starling! It's claim to fame is that it is the only such named pub in England.

  • It is The Starling PH. In my defence the fascia board had the last four letters obscured when seen on Google. Apologies

  • The Bell PH built c1837. Replaced by Bell Close and parade of shops either side c1930?. The Bell rebuilt 1931 by Taylor Walker on corner of Uxbridge Road and Elm Park Road. Name changed to The Orange Tree for a few years before demolition and building of a block of flats.

  • And another one, thanks Class 31, we are gradually filling the gaps in suburbia! We'll update the catalogue and post the revised record with the correct location here in due course.

  • Jubilee Close. The bungalows have now been removed and replaced with a high density modern residential development.

  • I think that I have identified a link between this photograph and EPW006193. This area is seen in the distance top left of EPW006193. We have the railway on the right and the straightish road in the middle( admittedly we can't see a lot of the road). There are five trees which I shall mark which clinch it for me.
